My ideal smart phone

Motorola me632

I have been considering buying a new cell phone to replace my current Motorola me632, which appears small-sized and outdated now with a 3.1 inch screen and the Android 2.3. However, I really like me632’s physical Qwerty keyboard.

It seems a difficult task to find one phone that both I like and can afford to buy with more than 1,000 options on Amazon. Although with so many different kinds of brands and phones, I really cannot tell one from another just from the appearance.

iPhone, unveiled in 2007, defines the functions and appearance of almost all smart phones nowadays. All other phone brands are at some extent follow the way of Apple. Furthermore, Android and iOS are looking more and more the same.

We really cannot tell what the smart phones in the future look like. My ideal phone would like this:

Brick body, not so slim
With a physical Qwerty keyboard
Large volume battery
Settings to customize my own UI
Distinctive appearance design

Chinese CNY Diplomacy

RMB, official currency of China and also knowns as CNY or Renminbi, is welcomed by almost all other countries. Chinese leaders' diplomatic visits are often accompanied by business cooperations in the form of China buying goods such as airplanes with billions of US dollars. That is why we often read in Chinese papers that Chinese leaders are greeted so warmly by foreign countries. China is eager to gain good international reputation and be recognized as a responsible country with good human rights record and its Chinese-style democracy. And one method to realize this is to become other governments' customer. However, there is no precedent that money diplomacy would always work in the long run.
